Overloads Situations - Various

Basic introduction to pass and move football and overloads. Start with 3v1 against coach who passively shuts down space and ensures the players creates angles whilst keeping pitch as wide and deep as possible.

Key factors - move after you passed (at this age), make sure you have line of sight of the ball at all times, do not run in straight lines - curve or angle your run, look for overlaps or different runs to exploit space.

Progressions - overlap/third man runs, give and go's between each players. Change formations/overloads 3v1, 4v2, 4v1, 5v3, 3v2. Give time limits to score. Introduce supporting player behind or another defender if they do not score within a set time period. Introduce 1-2 or 3 touch passing (no dribbling) - first time finish only etc etc.

Introduce two pug goals instead of one with keeper, close of goals to work together and switch play.
