3v1 in each box. Short sharp movements. Pressing to begin with then progressing to tackling.

Key Points

On toes, move the ball quickly. Movement off the ball. Encorporate dynamic movements.

60x40 - depending on area available.

Set Up

Flat 4 plus No 10 and 2 common players. Red team are protecting they're 3 goals. Once the ball is out or yellow team score then both teams must run to the other side of the pitch and yellows defending their three goals. Common players cannot score.

Key Points

Try and find the free players, work as a unit. Encourage creativity. Must recover as quickly as possible. Rest time is key as players must work hard to recover.

Highlight movement of the unit when defending. Wide players showing inside, cutting off the wing. Central players ball side goal side and tight to the opposition.
