Organization: open area

1 nemo
Instructions: the coach hides nemo(the fish) under any cone
all players start out on the reef and go look for nemo
players must use their fins(ball) to swim around and look for nemo
to dig up sand(cone) they must swim around the cone
if nemo is not there, they must put cone back down and move onto next one
when a player finds nemo, they must swim back to desert island with nemo in hand
Coaching Points: head up
keep your fin(ball) close to you
use different parts of your feet
Progressions: P-add brucey the shark (parent). Brucey has come to town and is lookin to eat little fishes fins (ball). The shark swims around with a fin on their back and attacks when the coach yells "SHARK ATTACK". All fish have to get back to the reef as quickly as possible.
R- reduce amount of cones

Organization: 20 by 20 area with a 5 by 5 area
3 + players (adjust field for # of players)

Instructions: players have to dribble through as many gates as possible in a set time
players are not allowed to go through same gate twice
when time runs out, they have to get back to the cave as quickly as possible
on the next game, players have to beat their previous score
Coaching Points: keep the ball as close to you as you can
watch out for other players

use different parts of your foot
Progressions: P-players now have to go through a gate, turn, and come back through same gate
R- allow players more time to go through as many gates as possible

Organization: 18 yard box (if available) otherwise 20 x 30~
( area based on number of players)
1 ball per player
Instructions:
The coach starts out as "The Blob", players have to dribble from one end to the other without getting tagged by the Blob and without their ball going out of bounds. If the Blob tags a player or ball goes out of bounds, they must put their ball outside of the area, and join hands with the Blob and they become a bigger Blob. Players wait at the line for the next round to begin.
The game ends when there is one player remaining or all players have been tagged.
Coaching Points:
-Keeping the head up when dribbling
-Watch out for other players, the Blob, and staying in-bounds
-Change of direction/pace with the ball
-Keeping the ball close to the body
Progressions:
P- Instead of one Blob, players can form mini-blobs on the field
R- Make the field bigger

Instructions: players 4v4 soccer scrimmage games
players are encourage to dribble more
ball goes out of bounds, play is restarted with kick-in
a goal is scored, play is restarted with kick in infront of goal
no corner kicks to be taken
