2. Be able to make a choice about how to receive (front foot or back foot)
3. Receive the ball to move away from pressure and protect the ball.

Set Up
Circle (25 Yard Diameter). Use Cones to make a 6x6 yard square in the middle of the area.
Rules and Conditions
Players are to move through the middle square and show a quick change of direction before finding a ball server on the outside. Receive: With back foot; Outside away from body; Outside in opposite direction with outside of foot while moving.
Progressions
Add defenders. If defender wins ball they swap with possession player. Players have to receive and get into the square before finding someone on the outside without a ball to pass to. When under pressure, receiving player to protect the ball, and can use server for a one two to get away from the defender.

Set Up
30 x 40 yards. Goal at each end.
Rules and Conditions
Play with overload in favor of possession team. Possession team to keep ball away from scoring team. Scoring team to win ball and try and score in either goal. Play for 2 minutes. The possession team can now score as well by making 5 passes. Play for 2 minutes.
Rotate player roles.

Even up teams - or - Even teams can score in either goal after making 4 passes.
