Activity 1 - 3v1s
The players are split into groups of 4s. The objective is to pass the ball to everyone in the square (2 passes) before you are then allowed to move into the other square where everyone must touch the ball before you can then move back into the other square. Meanwhile, there is a defender always trying to win the ball from you. If the defender wins the ball
Progressions - Rotate defenders after every repetion - If the defender wins the ball they must keep it for as long as they can - The attacking team must win the ball back as quick as they can - Teams get a point for every time they successfully make it into the other side.
Rep 1 [90 seconds] - Free Play ("In-essence" - 3v1 keep away)
Rep 2 [90 seconds]- Move the ball from one side of the square to the other making sure that everyone touches the ball. You are allowed to dribble over the line when everyone has touched the ball.
Rep 3 [3 minutes]- Move the ball from one side of the square to the other making sure that everyone touches the ball. You now must pass the ball over the halfway line.
Rep 4 [3 minutes] - Same as above, but this time, if the defender wins the ball, they must pass it into the goal of the square that they won the ball in. If the attacking team successfully make it to the other side, they must have everyone touch the ball before they can score themselves.
Technical Coaching Points
1) Before we pass, where must we look?
2) Use instep or laces of the foot.
3) Where does your leg standing leg point, where do your hips point, where does your passing leg follow through and point to? Where does your foot need to land?
4) Kick the ball in the nose for floor pass or in the mouth for lofted pass.

Warm-Up - Soccer-Tag
Taggers are put in groups of 3s. They must pass and move the ball to tag the non-taggers. The ball can only hit below the knee and below.
Progressions (90 second reps)
Rep 1 - Taggers with 1 ball in their groups of 3s. Non-taggers will dribble their balls around the square whilst being chased by the taggers. If the non-taggers get tagged, they must perform a bridge and have the ball passed under their body.
Rep 2 - Same as obove but change the taggers - Have a short team talk on how they can be more successful.
Rep 3 - Taggers can not dribble the ball to then kick the ball at the non-tagger, everything must be passed. Change taggers once again. Non-taggers will perform a crab and can only be freed with a longer type of pass under their body.
Rep 4 - Same as above but change taggers.
Rep 5 - Final Rep... Weaker foot passing only when you try and tag the non-taggers. Also change taggers again.
