- either poles or cones to create gates
- cones, balls and pinnies
- 10 to 12 players (2 teams)
Activity:
The objective is for the team in possession to maintain possession and wait for the opportunity to score on either of the 4 gates (goals) by executing a pass to a supporting player waiting on the other side of the gate. The scoring team maintains possession.
A) 1 goal is given for 6-8 consecutive passes while keeping possession.
B) 1 goal is also given for a pass through one of the 4 gates to a teammate.

Organization:
- 2 grids, each 10 x 10 or larger to create success for the team in possession
- 12 players
- Divide the group into 3 equal teams
- Different coloured pinnies for each team
- One team in each grid with one team on outside of grid
Instructions:
The objective of this activity is to maintain possession for as long as possible.
To begin the teams in the playing area begin passing the ball, and on the second pass one defender from the outside runs into the grid to try to win the ball. For each successful 5 passes completed, the team in possession gets 1 point and the defender has to be replaced by another waiting outside. If the defending team wins the ball, the defender plays the ball to a team mate waiting on the outside and the defending team immediately takes the place of the team that lost possession. Play continues as set out with no stoppage. If the ball is kicked out by the defender, the team in possession keeps the ball. If the team in possession kicks the ball out of play, the defending team switches and takes possession.
