Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Combination Play Give and Go

Semi opposed 2v1 (25 mins)

Organization:

25x20

8 players per group 2 different color bibs, 4 each.

Plenty of balls.

Instructions:

1) A dribblings, C applies slight pressure while B comes to suppose and combine .

2) Players will switch lines

3) C will now dribble while A applies slight pressure and D comes to suppose.

Coaching Points:

Timing (Not too soon, not too late)

Angle of support

Proper weight on the pass

Change of speed.

Progressions:

1) Same set up, C now applies full pressure. Score point by dribbling through the line or Add goals.

2) Same set up, C and D now apply full pressure.
