For Olders add 5-10 minutes of injury prevention/dynamic warm-up work
Half players on inside half on outside without ballPlayers dribble from central square and exchange two passes with outside player and then must dribble through central square performing skill at one of the cones
Work for 45s-1m and compete for most points
Variations:
-Change of direction move-Must enter central square and exit to L/R or same side-Footwork through central square (boxes, foundations, toe taps etc..)Progression Skill move at cones:
Scissors, Fake and Take, pull back, cruyff etc..
Add competition (most moves in 1 minute)

1v1's to goal
Start with player next to goal on each end
Play starts with pass
Players attempt to score on goal (if defender wins the ball they counter to far goal)
Can give bonus points for skill moves
Add competition
Progressions:
Multiple 1v1's at a time (next player in line waits 3-5 seconds and then plays no matter if the previous game is still going)
Receiving with defender coming from the side
Receiving back to goal/defender
Coaching points:
Purposeful first touch, positive whenever possible
Attack at speed
Change of speed and direction to beat defender
Acceleration into space after beating defender
Use and timing of skill move

1v1 to gates
Play starts with pass from wide to attacker, defender can pressure as soon as pass is received
Attacker attemps to dribble through gates (1 pt for wide, 3 pts for central) defender can counter to goal if they win the ball
Rotate after each rep, passer to attacker to defender
Progressions:
Defender can press as soon as the ball is played
Adjust passing position so ball comes from the side or so they are receiving back to goal
Add bonus points for skill moves
Coaching Points:
Quality of first touch, positive and purposeful
Change of speed and direction
Acceleration after beating player
Use of skill moves timing

Play starts with a pass across, players attack 2v1 to goal
If defender wins the ball they counter to opposite goal
Coaching Points:
Choice of pass or dribble

3 Gate game
Play 2v2 or 3v3 (plus neutrals as needed)
Score by dribbling over the end line (1 pt for wide, 3 pts for central)
Play round robin with group

Face up and commit defender on the dribble
