Set Up
- Using a half field, place a GK in goal
- The shape of the cones should be in a diamond
Instructions
- Player 1 passes the ball to player 2 and follows his pass
- Player 2 passes the player 3 as player 2 follows his pass
- Player 3 should have a touch with their back to goal, pushing the ball around the cone before finishing on goal
- As player 2 is making the pass to player 3, the new player 1 makes his pass to player 4 and follows his pass.
- The play repeats, rotating sides

- 1 touch only
Coaching points
- Focus on crisp passes and well timed movememnt
- The shooter should have a clean, quick turn while keeping his back to goal until he comes out of his turn for the shot
- Play with speed
- Good shooting technique

Set Up
- Half pitch
- Create a triangle in the middle of the grid (about 5 yards each side) with training sticks or flags
- Split the group into even teams
Instructions
- Instruct both teams to attack the 3 sided goal
- The GK should defend all 3 sides of the goal (or have 2 sharing the goals)
- If a team scores, a goal is awarded to the team and the ball is live on the other side of the net
- If the GK makes a save, he is to distribute the ball into open space away from players
- For a goal to count the finish must be on the floor

- Only allow a goal after 3/4 passes
- 1 or 2 touches

- Focus on pass and move; first touch away from pressure, head up and pass or finish
- Good finishing technique and early shots

Set Up
- Create 3 lines (1,2,3) of players about 30 yards from goal with a GK in each goal
- Each player in line needs a ball
Instructions
- Instruct Line 1 to make a move and shoot before the edge of the penalty box
- After player 1 shoots, they need to check in to player 2 for a 1-2 ball. Player 1 should lay the ball off to player 2 for a first time shot
- After player 2 shoots, they move to defend the player in line 3. Player 3 should beat player 2 and have a shot on goal
- The players should return to their lines and work through their line 3-4 times before switching lines
Coaching Points
- Focus on good shooting technique, landing on the kicking foot, following through onto goal and hitting the ball on target
- Players should pay attention and remember their next task after shooting
