- Players in groups of 3/4. 2 feeders, 1 or 2 players in the middle working
- Player in the middle checks shoulder, shows for the ball, recieves on the half turn, touches forward and then turns back and passes back to feeder - then repeats sequence at the other feeder.
- Introduce different turns
- Progress to player in the middle having a ball. Player dribbles, passes into feeder, makes an angle, recieves and opens out.. Repeat sequence to other feeder.
- Progress to Player in the middle recieving the ball and opening out and passing to player on the other side (so acting as a central midfielder switching the play from one side to the other).
- Progress to adding a defender in the middle.
- Also work on trapping, heading etc. For technical purposes.
- Feeders have ball each, player traps/heads/volley at feeder, then shows to other side quickly.

Organization: 30x40m area. 6v6 depending on numbers
Instructions: Keep possession as a team, dribble into boxes in corners or pass to a player making a run into the box to score a point.
Coaching Points: Don't play into congested areas, play quickly, support for the player on the ball, switch play to areas where there is space.
Progressions: First play possession without scoring in corner boxes, 5passes equals a point. Then move to score in corner boxes. Play 2 touch.

6v6 depending on numbers.
Coaching points: Encourage lots of passing, movement, supporting player on the ball, pressure the ball when not in possession. Open out when reciving the ball, and check shoulder before receiving it. Also encourage to switch play when they can by opening out and playing to the other side of the field when the opportunity arises.
Warm up & Ball Mastery (25 mins)
Warm up:
Dynamics - jogging, knees up, side-side, kicks, open the gate etc.
Ball Mastery:
Each player with a ball. Players instructed to perform differnt combinations with their feet: outside-inside (zig-zagging), rolls, roll-stop, triangles (dragback-side-push with other foot) etc. Also include turns i.e cruyff, reverse cruyff, dragbacks, stepover turn etc.
