Instructions:
Two players perform the exercise: "A" First Attacker, "B" Support Player (Overlap)
Player "A" Takes "Messi" touches when approaching the defender
Player "A" Makes a pass (Outside foot) to "B" into space to pass & beat the defender.
Player "A" Accelerates into space (behind defender) away from "B" to provide a passing option if needed.
Player "B" Performs an Overlap Run (good timing) as "A" approaches the defender.
Player "B" Communicates to "A", Runs into space to receive the ball & performs a quality end product (continue dribble or cross the ball)
Coaching Points:
Player on the ball "A"
Recognition of overlapping player to help unbalance the defender
Observation of overlaping player position to help decide best course of action
Timing of pass to overlapping player
Supporting player:
Recognition of being able to open up more space for both players
Timing of run
Communication (hold, set etc.)
Quality end product ( Score goal).

Instructions:
Player "A" will perform the approaching, the Overlap pass as it's been practiced in the anterior exercise, and will run into space to provide an option to player "B".
Player "B" will perform an Overlap (behind "A"), as "A" is approaching the defender.
Player "B" will call "A's" name to let "A" know that "B" is performing an "Overlap".
Option 1:
Player "B" will finish it into the goal after receiving the ball.
Option 2:
Player "B" will cross the ball to "A", so "A" will finish it into the goal.
Note: Decision will be taken depending on the defender position.

Instructions:
. Two players, one ball.
. Players facing to each other as shown.
. Set up a ball next to one end cone as shown.
. Player "A" runs to get the ball & dribbles around the cones (Messi touches)
. When player "A" gets to the other end (last cone), "A" will stop & leave the ball there.
. After leaving the ball, player "A" will return to the starting point (working on agility on the way back).
. Player "B" will perform the same exercise as "B" leaves the ball.
Coaching Points:
Dribbling 8' (4' RF; 4' LF)
Keep the ball close to feet (In -out)
Adjust body positioning as you go around cones.
