Instructions:
5v2 in first box.
2 are looking to win ball and score in three counter goals.
5 must make 5 passes and then can dribble into attacking half, or play a forwards pass into the 3 attacking players. Once ball is moved forward, 2 players can join to create a 5v3, with the attacking team having 12 seconds to score.
Coaching Points:
Phase 1:
- Attacking shape to maintain possession
- Quality of passing, and speed of play
- Movement of #10 to find the lane for the forwards pass
Phase 2:
- Runners to join quickly from deep
- Players looking to get ahead of the ball when possible
- Movement of front two to create space
- Quality of final pass

- 4v4 game with goalkeepers. 3 Teams, winners stay on. 1 goal, or 2 minute games.
Coaching Points:
- Recap role of first attacker (penetration)
- Recap role of second attacker (support)
- Recap role of third attacker (unbalance)
- Can we create a diamond? (Width, Depth, Length)
- Are players aware of which of the above roles they have?
- Movement as ball travels
- Recognizing visual cues for the combinations covered
- Speed of thought and movement in transition

Instructions:
2 teams of 5. Team in possession play 5v2 in their box. If blue team win the ball they pass back to teammates in their box and two whites transition over and defender 5v2. 10 passes equals a goal. Team with ball gets 2 lives (ball forced out) before opposition get possession.
Play for five minutes, most goals wins.
Coaching Points:
- Speed of reaction upon winning/losing possession
- Can we win ball back immediatley as a team when lost?
- Team shape when in possession (make field big)
- Quality of pass
- Readiness to receive (body shape, on toes)
