Square set up should be roughly 12x12m

1v1 alternating depending on who has the ball. To start the exercise, blue will pass ball across to blue teammate, and one white player will come in to defend. Objective of blue player is to beat white player 1v1 and play across to his blue teammates on other side. If successful, he will follow his pass out of square, player who receives ball will come in and 1v1 against the same white defender.

IF the white defender wins the ball, he will pass ball out to one of white team-mates, and the blue player that lost ball will now defend 1v1.

Focus for defenders: Ability to close down space quickly, staying light on feet, jockeying and blocking passing lane.

Focus for attackers: quick and sharp movement to beat defender

Can include scoring system for competitiveness - (first team to 5, 6, 7 or 8 successful 1v1s)

This can then progress into a possession game w/w-out wall passers + also progressed into small sided game with large or smaller goals
