Objectives:
- Running and Change of Speed / Direction
- Ball Skills
Warm Up Clock - Organisation(1):
- Similar setup as last week - Set players in a circle, 1 player 1 cone.
- Use different colored cones as starting points (R/Y/G/B)
- When coach shouts go all players from the outside run into middle box
- Coach can ask player to do a movement e.g. high five another player before exiting. Coach can be creative in coming up with different movements. e.g five jumps.
- Players must exit to a new color - E.g if starting on Yellow they must finish on a different color.
- If pace is slow coach can shout 'race': last player to exit the box and find a cone has to do a forfeit
Progression A (2)
- 1 player 1 ball, start on cone as before
- Go through ball manipulation exercises e.g. toe taps /ball boxes/ drag backs / circle the cone
- Player should perform movements on the spot, try and stay close to the cone
- Coach can activate players by shouting their color. E.g everyone is resting until coach shouts your color, on hearing color player immediately perfoms movement until another color is called
Progression B (3)
- 1 player 1 ball, start on cone as before
- When coach calls your colour / colours players have to run through and out the box and find a free cone
- When coach shouts race all colors go at the same time, last player to find a free cone does a forfeit
Progression C (4)
- Add a defender in the middle, defender nominates a colour / colours
- If your colour is nominated player has to dribble through the middle box without getting their ball tackled
- If ball is tackled swap defenders

2v2 (Flying Changes) - Dribbling / RWB
Organisation
- Split group up into 2 teams
- Teams line up either side of their goal / GK
- Assign one line from each group to start with balls
- In this example Yellows start the game, players at the front of each line play 2v2 + GK's + Bumpers
- Bumper players play for team in possesion (stay outside the pitch)
- This game is high on activity, the game should not stop. If the ball goes out of play a new team immediately enters e.g.
*If ball goes over blue teams line or a goal is scored against them a new blue team enters with ball
*If ball goes over yellow teams line or a goal is scored against them a new yellow team enters with ball
* If ball goes over the sidelines the team that kicked it out leaves and a new team enters to replace them
To encourage dribbling frequency:
- Players score double for dribbling themselves without passing to a bumper player
- Bumpers are there to give success to weaker players who struggle to dribble with ball
To decrease difficulty:
- Teams rotate as above but the coach can start with the balls, when its time for teams to rotate coach can add in a new ball
To decrease difficulty further:
- Coach can command teams when to enter and feed in new balls
If more than 12 players
- To keep rotations high coach can add neutral bumpers on the outside who can be used to play wall passes off to goal

Organization:
- 2 Pitches
- 3v3 or 4v4 match phase
- GK's can move in and out the game to create an extra player and therefore extra passing options
For example, if yellow team have the ball the yellow GK moves out and creates a numerical advantage, the blue GK has to retreat. When blue team have possession the blue GK comes out to support and the yellow GK retreats back to goal.
