Problem 3

Looking to get an underlap against the full back who is tight to my winger

Solution

-As the ball is getting worked out from one side of the pitch to the other my winger who is on the side we will be looking to switch to will get as wide as possible, not allowing the marking full back to get in front of him, to allow spaceto recieve the ball and make space to allow the full back underlap.

- Trigger for my full back to overlap is when the ball is getting cycled out for the switch and the winger is wide as possible, on the switch he already needs to be on the move.

- My centre forward to be on the move from one central defender to the other who he will try and pin if possible on the switch.

-My no10 playing attacking goal side of there holding midfielder and between there two central defenders if possible.

- Midfielder who is on the side of the switch at that time, will be backwards of square from the winger who recieves the switched pass in case the move breaks down or the underlap is mistimed.

- Opposite midfielder can get himself forward into a goalscoring position at the edge of the box for any loose balls or cut backs.

- Opposite winger ready to get in at the far post for scoring opportunity

- Opposite full back in with the two central defenders in correct marking position neede to mark there two central strikers

- My two central defenders marking and organising the rest of the defensive balance needed at the time I.e channel side, one in front one behind

- Goalkeeper making sure he is communicating with the back 4 but in a postion for anything that is long on the clearence from them or my defenders miss it.
