Server plays into the defending team, who looks to combine using the phases of play previously covered. Attacking team looks to play to the servers to score, while the defending team looks to dribble across the line to score.

4v3 training possession habits to play forward.
Attacking team is always in possession with new ball. Attacking team looks to create the "right" time to play forward. Using extra numbers to find the proper time to play forward. Ball can be played through the gates or around.
Progression: add attacking players and defenders in attacking zone. Attacking must switch fields before moving forward.
CPs: Patience. Are we playing forward before we are ready? Forced: are the passes forward open or closed? Numbers Up: Are we utlizing our overloads/overlapping runs to create new passing lanes?

Midfield Passing Patterns
1) Server passes to RM who has checked away and back toward the ball. She exchanges pass with the attacking center midfielder (10) who drops the ball to the 6. The 6 receives and finds the wide midfielder/outside back when then finds the target near the end line. Repeat on other side.
2) Server passes to RM who immediately passes to the ACM. ACM drops the ball to the DCM who is able to find the RM making a run. RM then passes to target. Repeat on other side.
