What: 6 dropping between CBs and creating an overload in the first phase of the build.
When: When opposition presses with 2 Fwds or when more security in the build is required
Where: In defensive to middle third of the field
Why: Opposition presses with 2 fwds making it 2v2 vs our CBs and we want to have a numerical advantage in the first line of the build
What: La Volpiana exit
Functions:
4 and 5: split wide and allow 6 to drop in between
2 and 3: get wide and higher up the field
6: drop in between CBs get body faced forward
8 and 10: drop down into deeper half-spaces
7 and 11: Come inside and occupy advanced half-space channels in between opposition lines
9: Stay high and pin back opposition’s backline

Coaching Points and Player actions:
Triangulation and use of the third man (e.g. GK -->6-->CB)
