Combination 3v3+1 (20 mins)
Combination Game: 3v3+1; or 4v4+2
Set-up: 20x16 grid; 20 x 25 Grid
Progression: 2.5 minute games.
Warm-up: Two balls, pass and move, must play opposite team, face 3 corners of field and check shoulder 3 times before receiving the ball. If you aren't facing 3 corners of field, must lay off one touch.
1) 8 passes = 1 point; dummies count as 1 pass.
2) Get one point whenever you successfully play one touch with teammate; first to 31, dummies count as 1 pass.
3) Get one point everytime you do a combination (Give and go around player, third man run outside of box ball must cross outer line first) with your team.
4) 8 passes = 1 pt OR combination play
Coaching points: What should you do after you pass the ball? (introduce 3 step rule) Must pass and move. When you perform combination play, need to face up defender and pass and move around them.
For one touch game: players will want to force one touch passes all the time. Introduce decision making, when is the best time to one touch pass? (what should you do before receiving the ball to make this possible <peak>)
