Every player with a ball

SHIELDING
In pairs, one ball between.
Ball is stationary One player shields the ball from the other using their body. Other player attempts to touch ball with hand. If they do so, they become the player shielding the ball and the other player now attempts to touch the ball from the shielding player
Play two-three games (1 minute) then move on to knockout
Variation:
One player has a hand on the ball and shields the other player from the ball. The player without the ball attempts to move and touch the ball. If they touch the ball, they are now the player shielding the ball
Coaching points
Positioning of body: Sideways on
Make contact and lean on opponent
Keep body between the defender and the ball
Drop your hips
Extend and use arms

KNOCKOUT
Each player has a ball and dribbles it within the area.
Each player attempts to maintain possession of their ball while attempting to poke as many of the
other players balls out.
Rules to game:
Game #1
If ball is dribbled out of the grid or knocked out, player does three toe taps to return and play in the Coaches can make the grid smaller
Game #2
Elimination: if you get knocked out, you remain out
Game #3
Two to three teams playing against each other. If player dribbles or gets ball knocked out they are out The last player remaining color wins
Coaching points:
Get body between ball and opponent
Constant Scanning of the field
Extend and use arms
Drop body down for more balance and strength on ball

PASSING IN PAIRS
8-10 yards apart or as needed
In pairs, one ball between. Passing and receiving
Progression ( 1minute or so for each element)

PLAY THE GAME
Play 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 max if needed without goalkeepers.
Play for time. Most goals wins
