Physical (10 mins)

Coaching points

- Focus on the ball and your balance

- Keep your body in line, dont lean back or foreward too much

- Squat on oneleg to lift off with more power

Organisation

- 1, player hops on to the first disc with their right foot and volleys back to the server with their left

- 2, Players hops on to the second disc with their left foot and volleys back with their right

- 3, Player must hop off that leg into ajumping header back to the server

- Change servers after 1 minute

#1Passing pattern (10 mins)

Coaching points

- Quality/speed of pass

- Play to the back foot

- Movement from players inside, be on different vertical and horizontal lines

- Speed of play. Can you play with 1 touch?

- Communication

- Are you in a position to see your next pass?

Organisation

- 2 players start inside the square with 2/3 players in each of the corners

- Ball starts with A who plays a square ball into B

- B looks to play to the furthest playerinside the box (C) while the other play looks to support by creating a angle and distance, and then play out to one of the corner players on the opposite side

- The player who passes inside (B) moves inside, the player who passes to the outside (D) moves outside

Progression- Players must quickly rotate their positions e.g. C quickly comes deep while D moves high as B receives the ball

#2Passing pattern (10 mins)

Coaching points

- Type of turn, be creative

- Angles and distance to receive

- Be on different vertical and horizontal lines

- Communication and triggers for positioning- if i see my teamamte move deep then i need to keep the length

Organisation

- 2 players start inside the square with 2/3 players in each of the corners

- Ball starts with A who plays a square ball into B

- B looks to play to the closest player inside the box (C) while the other play looks to create distance, C turns with the ball and looks to make a quick combination with D and then play out to one of the corners.

- The player who passes inside (B) moves inside, the player who passes to the outside (C) moves outside

Rondo (20 mins)

Coaching points

- Body shape to be able to receive and play in all directions

- Pass to the back foot

- Draw defenders in to create space behind

- N player always scanning and making movements to support players

- Speed of play

Organisation

- 8v4+1 Rondo, 3 teams of 4 and one central N player

- Defenders are restricted to their square

- N palyer can move move down and across the lines to offer support

- If your team lose the ball then you must quicly transition into defence

- Play for 6 minutes, rest for 2- x3

- Team that conseeds the most passes losses

- Protect the middle

- Tackling triggers

- Quick transition

Organisation

- 5v5+5

- One N player who palys centrally and a team of 4 who play on the outside of the pitch and are limited to 2 touches

- If you conceed a goal then your team moves to the outside and the outside team come into the middle
