Line up
7 players will work unopposed to work on combinations which lead to players crossing the ball to their teammates and their teammates converting their chances. 11 v 11 line up is taken from a 1-4-5-1 and we are just going to focus on the attackers in a tight game which would result in trying to create crossing opportunies with our back 4 acting very defensive to start off with.
I will work on lots of different patterns of play, and will start off by running through every pass with the players. progression will be to let the players replicate the patterns by memory and without my assistance.
Aims
Is this match tempo?
Can we always be flexibal and not a flat 5 in midfield
Quality and variaty in our crosses and finishes
Understanding when and why we pass in these patterns
