SSG
area half pitch(or as coach needs)
spare balls in goals
players 7v7+2 GKS
Use cones to create 2 channels out wide
SSG- normal game, only wide man and full back allowed in channel to start.
Ask attacking team to try and play switch of play from one side to another going forward at pace when possible trying to create as many chances as possible, using the channel out wide as much as possible .
Organise the defence so full backs block the channel and stop the attackers from playing there, if one v one occurs use the defending mechanics to block the attacker and pass going towards goal and force the player wide or backwards.
Have the central defenders mark striker and block the space available by staying narrow and compact, while the midfielders try and block the passing lines and put pressure on ball.
Progression/Regression- Add or remove extra defenders to minimise or maximise the space they have to defend
Bonus goal if defending team intercepts the attack and scores goal
