Description - remove the half way line. Players must now stay in their "lanes" but can increase pressure on the ball.
Technical - close down the space quickly. Try to "force" play in one direction.
Tactical - position of covering players. Try to intercept.
Physical - match specific movements and pace. Tackling.
Psychological/Social - Decision making, when to press and when to hold, "can I intercept?", "where do I want them to play?" Communication.
Learning Objectives - to try to make play predictable.

Technical - defenders need to decide whether to chase the pass or track the runner.

Description - Defending as a Unit. The idea is for the teams of 4 to play into the target players. Opposition to try and intercept. Players are restricted to their own areas to start with.
Technical - close down the space as much as allowed.
Tactical - try to prevent the penetrating pass. Players away from the ball the shuffle across and back. "Can you see the number on the back of the next player's shirt"?
Physical - quick and agile defensive movements.
Psychological/Social - teamwork, communication.
Learning Objectives - to improve individual defending (closing down space).
to improve defending as a unit (pressure, cover & balance).
