Setup:
2 players; 2 cones set about 5-6 yds apart.
Activity:
Player 1 tries to beat opponent to cone before opponent steps to cone. Play for 1 minute then switch. Keep score. Players cannot cross line and must face each other. Defender cannot steal ball.
Coaching Points; Be deceptive, keep ball close, accelerate to cone

Setup:
Grid is adjustable depending on amount of players; everyone with ball; 1 player has ball in her hands
Activity:
On coaches command, players start dribblng in grid. Coaches second command sends bomber in. Bomber must hit dribblers ball with her ball out of her hands. If successful, player picks up her ball and becomes second bomber. Cycle repeats until there is no one left dribbling. Last dribbler becomes new bomber.
Coaching Points: Dribblers should always have head on swivel looking for bomber; quick changes of direction; use deceptiveness to escape bomber; accelerate away from bomber

Setup:
Grid is adjustable depending on amount of players; everyone has a pinnie tucked into the back of his short to make a tail; pinnie must be visible and cannot be tucked all the way in.
Activity:
On coaches command, players grab as many pinnies as he can. Even if player gets his pinnied grabbed, he is still in the game. Player with most pinnies wins. Repeat game a few times.
-Progression:
All players now have ball. Cannot leave their ball to grab a pinnie
Coaches Points:
Quick movement of players; head on a swivel; shield pinnie if player is close to grabbing it; be deceptive

Setup:
6-8 yd grid adjustable on age of player. 8 cones, (different color of 4); 6-8 players
Activity:
Group 1 are attackers, group 2 defenders. Attacker tries to get through either set of yellow cones without being tagged. Rotate.
-Progression
Make grid slightly bigger and attacking player now has ball to try and beat defender through cones. If defender wins ball, she can counter through red cones.
Coaching Points:
Quick, deceptive movements to avoid being tagged; accelerate once past defender; immediate conuter attack if defender wins ball
4 square unopposed
Setup:
Grid approx. 12x12, 8-12 players, 9 cones (setup as above), everyone with ball
Activity:
Players 1 and 2 perform move at cone and end up on other side. Once 1 and 2 pass cone, 3 and 4 proceed. Cycle repeats.
Moves:
1. Lunge, step one way, take ball with opposite foot. Work left and right
2. Sole Role across body. Work left and right
3. 2 foot vee. Pull ball back into you and take away with opposite foot. Work left and right.
4. Scissors. work left and right
5. Rivolino. Step around outside of ball and take away with same foot. Work left and right.
Coaching Points: Go at speed to cone, peek up when dribbling to cone, sharp, quick movements
