Organization:
Set up as shown
Channel size up to coach's preference
Instructions:
Players lined up outside the channel with "penny tails"
Each channel contains one defender
Players attempt to make it past their defender while staying inside the channel and keeping their "penny tail"
1 point for successfully making it across. 1 point if defender grabs attacker's penny
Coaching Points:
Use body fakes and feints to elude defender
Keep penny tail from being exposed to defender (body positioning)
Acceleration and deceleration
Creativity (spins, rolls, "Look at that over there")
Progressions:
Make channels narrower
Add soccer balls instead of penny tails
Add extra defenders

Organization:
1. 45x30 area split as shown.
2. Two goals placed as shown.
3. Attackers with balls.
Instructions:
1. One at a time in each direction, attackers look to reach the goal.
2. First defender has two options: A) stay back in 2nd area or, B) move into 1st area on 1st touch.
3. Defenders are restricted to one zone.
4. After going through on one side, attackers move on to the next.
5. Attackers constantly rotate in counter-clockwise direction.
6. Rotate defenders and attackers after 2-3 minutes.
Coaching Points:
1. Head up to observe position of defender(s).
2. Locate space (in front, to side, or behind defender).
3. Decision-making: running with the ball or dribbling.
4. Selection of move.
5. Timing and execution of move.
Progressions:
1. Add defenders into the neutral/safety zone.
2. Allow defender to drop into next zone once beaten.

-Coach shouts instructions; toe taps, hands on head, touch your knee, hop on one leg, sit on ball, stand up, forehead on ball, dribble away, jump over ball, Foundations ( passing ball bettween feet, big toe to big toe) ect..
Coaching Points:
1. Listen to Simon carefully
2. Keep your head up so that you don’t bum p into other players
3. Encourage a change of speed and direction
Progressions:
Add cones for players to go around, jump ect.
