Gates (15 mins)

Set-Up

1 2 yard gate is set up per player + 2 gates

Instructions

The players run/dribble through the gates

The players accelerate/decelerate when they arrive at a gate

The players are allowed to only use a portion of their foot

The players preform a skill move at a gate

The players are given their own hoop and dribble around in a figure 8

Challenges

The players are put into pairs with 1 ball

The player without the ball is the leader and stands in between a gate

The player with the ball follows them and makes a good pass

The player receives the ball and follows the new leader to a gate

Which group can make the most passes?

Final Game (15 mins)

Playing field

One net is set up on each endline

Instructions

The group is split into two teams

3v3 game (Triangle shape 2 attackers 1 defender)

If a goal is scored players run back to their net or into their positions

The team that concedes the goal begins play with a dribble or kick in

The team that scores cannot begin to play until a player begins to dribble the ball
