Organization:
1.15 x 10 yard area divided into two 15 x 5 yard areas set up as shown
2.6 players (3 Attackers, 3 Defenders) set up as shown
3.3 balls (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1.Attackers score by dribbling over either end line before the defending player can run across it
2.Defending players have to “mirror” attacker and beat them to end line
3.Attackers and defender must stay in their own areas
4.Attackers have 5 seconds to score
5.Play for two minutes then change attackers and defenders
Coaching Points:
1.Positive first touch out of feet
2.Get the defender moving at full speed
3.Technique (Specific one being used)
4.Be creative

Organization:
1.20 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players (6 Attackers, 6 Defenders) set up as shown
3.1 ball per attacker
Instructions:
1.Attackers score by dribbling out and shooting into either goal
2.Defending players have to possess or get ball out of area to score
3.Attackers have 5 seconds to score
4.If the ball leaves the area, a goal is scored or the defender wins the ball, a new game starts
5.Play for a time limit or for a number of repetitions then change the attackers and defenders

1.Positive first touch out of feet
2.Get the defender moving at full speed

4.Good end product

Organization:
Place 3 cones, 3 yards apart in a straight line
1 player to perform challenge
Coach in position to count
Instructions:
- Player dribbles around cones as shown
- Point is scored for passing cone without contact
- Scoring begins at middle cone
- Challenge lasts for 30 seconds

1.40 x 30 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players (Teams of 4, 1 team resting) set up as shown
3.End zone, 1 yard wide, at each end of field Central markers to indicate 4 yard goal in center
4.1 ball (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1.Team starts with kick off from center of field
2.Teams score by dribbling through center markers, worth 2 points (see A), or by dribbling into any other area of end zone, worth 1 point (see B)
3.Players are not allowed inside their own defensive end zone
4.If ball goes out, team restarts with a pass or dribble in
5.If goal is scored, conceding team restart with a dribble in from own end zone
6.First team to 4 points wins, with losing team switching with resting team
Coaching Points:
1.Controlled approach
2.Engage defender at speed by attacking front foot
3.Timing of move – just outside tackling radius
4.Body shape – low center of gravity
5.Change of speed and direction
6.Cut into the space behind defender
Progressions:
P – Players cannot pass forward
P – Use resting team to put goalkeepers in central goal, and make a 5 v 5 situation
R – Make first touch free for attacking team, when restarting play from a dribble in

Instructions:
1.The player that starts with the ball passes to a player without a ball and presses them as a passive defender
2.The player receiving the pass beats the pressing player with a fake or feint and accelerates in a new space
3.The new player on the ball now looks for an open player and repeats the process
Coaching Points:
1.Engage the pressing defender with 1st or 2nd touch
2.Timing and execution of fake or feint
3.Cut into the space behind the pressing player
Progressions:
P – The pressing player now attempts to win the ball
R – Reduce the pressing players to walking speed
