Circle play drill simulating hits inside the 25 to work on urgency, off-ball movement, and communication

Blue - Offense

Red - Defense

Black - Coaches / Passers

Yellow - GK

Play 3 minute rounds (or set number of balls) alternating offense and defense.

Objective: This drill is designed to simulate free hits inside the 25 while focusing on urgency, off-ball movement, and communication.

How to Play:

Coaches/Passers have a pile of balls and will go in a designated order.
Blue must cut to receive ball outside of circle in order to play to goal.
Blue's objective is to score (2 pts) or draw a corner (1 pt).
Red is defending. Their objective is to outlet ball to Ts at 25/sideline.
After everyone 2 balls, a player on each team must rotate an athlete in - hence the chaos. If a team fails to rotate an athlete in, they lose a player for that ball.
