Passing & Recieving: (15 minutes)
Organization:
- 2 groups of players (5-6 players per group)
- Players working through a series of passing and recieving exercises
- 15-20 yard grid
Instructions:
1. Players recieve in front of the cone to start. Players wil open up off first touch with 1 foot and then pass to the far player using other foot (recieve right- pass left & recieve left - pass right). Players follow their pass. P1 to P2, P2 to P3, P3 to P1 etc...
2. Same as above - now players move off the cone to create space to recieve the ball. Player would play pass to side of cone and player would recieve by opening up off first touch and play pass to far player. Player would then follow pass
3. Same as 2 - Receive with outside of foot beind the cone and pass with the same foot to the player on the far side and then follow pass.
4. Recieve with outside of foot and pass wiht outside of same foot to the far player and then follow pass.
** make sure players are on their toes at all times

- Pace/Speed of pass
- Guided first touch
- Non-passing foot over the ball
- Scanning/Checking shoulders before recieving

Possession Activity: (10 minutes)
Organization:
- Players divided into groups of 3 of 3-4 players
- Players arranged into teams of 3-4 players
- Make 3 12x12/10x10 grids
Instructions:
- Team in possession to make 3-4 consecutive passes and then switch ball to opposite grid to score 1 point.
- 1 player from middle grid will pressure the ball and try to win the ball.
- If team loses possession, coach passes ball to the other grid and 1 player from team who lost posession sprints in ahrd to defend.
- Other team takes the other teams place in other grid
** Start unlimited touches/progress to 2-touch if possible
Coaching Points:
- Players must move from cone to cone
- Players must give player on the ball 2 options all the time
- Pass move mentality
- On your toes
- First touch away from pressure
- Communication
- Decision making

Small Sided Game: (15 minutes)
Organization:
- Half field - 9-11 players
- Two teams of equal numbers or use neutrals (4v4 +1, 5v5,5v5 + 1)
Instructions:
- Start unlimited touches/Progress to 2-touch if possible
- Emphasize Pass-Move Mentality
Coaching Points:
- Body shape when recieving
- Movement to create space
- Long and short support
- Wide support (width)
- First touch
- Pace/Speed of pass
- Communication
