Set-Up
The field is split into 3. The central area has a 5v5 with a 1v1 in each end. The ball starts in with the greens, who make 10 passes before they can break out to score. 2 players from each team players can join to score/defend. Once the ball goes out of play, the game re-starts in the central area. If the Whites win the ball, they must attack their goal rapidly and try to shoot within 7 seconds. Change transition roles. The Offside is active. Progression - must score in 5 seconds.
Coaching points
- Speed, attack on transition at speed, while your opponents are out of defensive shape.
- Retention, keep the ball once it's been won, and be aware of your options.
- Movement off the ball at pace
- Once the ball gets played in to the attacker, move off the ball to create options.

Set-up
8v6 functional. The defending team have 6 players. The attacking team start with the ball and plays in an attacking shape. The attacking team are trying to dribble over the halfway line for a point but must make 5 passes before that. The Whites will attack in transition and attempt to get a shot in the first 10 seconds after winning possession.
Scenario 1
- The ball is won by W9 centrally. W7&11 make diagonal runs towards the goal. Exploit the high FBs

Coaching points
- Retain possession, the first thought should be to keep the ball.
- Play short, quick passes to get out of the tight spaces.
- Can you get into a position for the counterattack?

Scenario 3
- The ball is won by 7/11 in a wide area.
Coaching points
- If there is space in front run into and exploit the space the FB has left.
- The team should recognise the attacking opportunity and get forward in number.
- Play to the player in the best position to score if you are to wide for a shot.
- Can you find the quickest route to the goal? one pass if possible.
- Postioning in the box.

Transition technical game (15 mins)
Set-Up
Two teams of 5 start in each half. One team starts with the ball, 3 of the 5 from the other team, press to win the ball. Once the ball is won, they must quickly playback to their teammates. Then, 3 of the team that just lost possession must press.
Coaching Points
- Reaction time, once the ball is won, keep possession and transfer quickly.
- Awareness, be aware of your free teammates, ready when you win possession.
