Explanation:
Aim of practice focuses on defending team limiting the attacking team in creating goal scoring opportunities also sub principle not to allow attacking no's 10 to get on the ball.
Whether that is winning the ball high up the pitch or cutting the passing lines in to the no's 10, If the 10 gets the ball apply a lot of pressure on him to force mistakes.
Practice starts with a server feeding a blue defender who plays the ball to a teammate in space, changing who he gives it to depending on the reds applied pressure.
The blues will look to create problems for the reds with movement and quick passing using all the zones and channels to try and break the lines of the defending red team.
Tactical Theme -
Regaining possession of the ball whilst in a set formation - e.g. not exposed in a high press, not sitting back in a low block
Quick tempo on regain of ball to score
Challenges,Conditions and Targets:
Team Challenges -

Red team not allowing blues into final zone
Can reds win the ball back within 10 seconds/4 passes?
Individual Challenges -
- Can attacking no's 10 touch the ball on each switch of play, and defending red team stop the 10 getting any touches, through tight marking or cutting passing lines.
- Can the wide players drop back when defending and push up in line with the ball in possession?
- Can defenders stop the ball from going into the end zone?
- Attackers creating space and being an option on counter
