Scenario
White full backs push forward into next zone.
Ball played to Right centre back.
1 Can striker arc run to try to keep ball down the same side, forcing wide.
2 Opposite striker moves across, keeping in a position in the zone next to other striker. In a position to affect the ball into the deep midfielder and aslo able to affect the ball into the opposite centre back.
3 Left side midfielder is responsible for the opposition full back, always showing the outside. In this practice im only allowing the opposition to advance one square. If game realism, he would run into the are of my full back where they would communicate to allow switch.
4 Right sided midfielder will be in a position where he moves from wide zone to the zone inside keeping the central area compact affecting balls into the central midfielder.
5 If midfielder drops deep, furthest midfielder releases to go with the player. Getting tight not to allow the ball into feet.
6 Near midfielder marks on the inside, affecting the ball into the striker, and
7 Centre back on ball side can release into next zone going tight with opposition right midfielder.
8 Futherest centre back becomes central to deal with their striker. Game realism, both full backs would be in play, with opposite full back moving narrower into central zones.
Goalkeeper in a position to deal with any through balls, on front foot and on the same side as the ball.
Key Points
Communication.
Recognising that players dont work in isolation.
Depending on ability and stronger foot of the central defender, the stikers run can really be exagerageted even stopping the ball back to the goalkeeper.
Weaknesses
Any diagonal ball could hurt us with the opposition cntral midfielder running off the back of our midfielders.
A bounce pass into the central midfielder if the centre back is prepared to step and join in.

Organisation
Switch of play, roles and responsibilites
1 Central midfielder who goes with deep midfield opposition releases to go to left centre back.Showing out side
2 Right sided striker drops down to deal with central midfielder, getting ball side not to allow a bounce pass around him.
3 right sided midfielder releases back into wide zone and in t position to stop pass inside and get the the full back as the ball arrives.
4 left sided cnetre midfilder comes across to deal with the opposition right sided midfielder.
5 Left striker drops down to affect the opposition full back, playing on the inside .
6 Left centre back drops down the mark oppostion striker.
7 Left sided central midfielder moves narrow into next zone in a position to affect ball into central area.
8 right sided centre back comes across and is allowed to release forward to be in a position to affect opposition left sided centre midfielder.
9 Goalkeeper still plays high but on the side of the ball, ready to deal with any overhit through balls.
Weaknesses
If striker cant get back into ball side of deep midfielder opposition can easily play around us.
If allowed to play a big diagonal ball, we are overloaded in a 2v1 against our full back.

Organisation
Midfielder going into false full back position.
1 Left striker drops deeper to affect pass into deep midfielder, but also able to release to close down opposition centre back.
2 opposite striker drops in to get close to deep midfielder, getting goal side if possible.
3 left sided midfileder will go with the run of the full back, be mindful my full back will be there, so assuming opposition wide player will roll inside, so my left midfielder needs to protect any pass inside.
4 left sided midfielder goes witht he oppostion rolling into false full back, Not going too early as goalkeeper has a simple pass into one of the strikers. Arriving as the ball getting to the oppositions feet. Showing outside
5 Right sided midfielder moves across to next zone.
6 wide right midfielder comes inside, not too deep, but affects pass into central area.
7 near sided centre back can release to player higher narrowing the space between the lines, probably where opposition wide right striker will roll into.
8 left centre back comes central to deal with striker.
9 Goalkeeper play on side of ball dealing with any through balls.
Weaknesses
Every scenario i have looked to be aggressive therefore leaving 3 v 3 at the back.
If midfielder releases too early then an easy pass into strikers feet becomes available.
A diagonal ball in any of the scenarios, will cause me a problem, so the priority is to keep the ball down one side as much as we can.
