Ball mastery if we have enough balls. If not half the group and have the outside players pass around the area and swap groups in and out after every change. Working to 1 minute in 1 minute out
Dribble in the box without hitting anyone or going outside the grid, loads of touches with varying surfaces.
At the coaches shout throw in a turn, if you have a skill let's see it.
At the coaches shout 10 sides and carry on.
At the coaches shout 10 toe taps and carry on.
Make the area smaller and the drill faster as progressions if needed.

Passing drill to mimic on field movement and the wide overload. All players are positions behind A and D with players at each other cone.
Drill is for A to pass to B and then make an overlapping run to receive the ball back and play into C, Ball will then be played to D who will restart the same drill on the opposite side.
Players are to move to the follwing station once completing their pass.
I want everyone to take 2 touches to start to get some success into the drill and keep in theme of the mechanical teachings then progress to 1 touch if they are killing it.
To add a bit of pressure we will now use two balls restarting from from A and D.
Keep the mechanics that we have been working on the past few weeks.
We move off our cone to recieve the pass.
Always have an open body position to revieve the ball and with a first touch into space when possible.
Use verbal and non-verbal communication.

Pitch is set out with wide zones created and either a goal and goalkeeper at each end or 2 pug goals if they aren't available.
Aim of the drill is to encourage wide overloads and different way of supporting the player with the ball.
Teams are arranged in two teams of 6 players, they will play a 2-3-1 formation withing the ptactice.
Session will always start with 2 passes being made between the CB's, the aim is then play the ball forward in one of two ways. A) pass the bll strait into the wide zone or B) use the CM to get the ball into the wide zone. Then played back into the centre where a goal can be scored in either of the 2 pug goals that are at each end of the practice.
Aim is then for the nearest defender to then support the ball and create a 2v1 overload or underlay, when in there try to encourage different solutions to play forward past our opponent by either.
Making an overlapping run to recieve the ball.
Making an overlapping run to distract the defender.
Playing 1-2 passes to get around the defender.
We need to encourage that it's the defenders actions that determine the outcome, look at their potisioning and what they try to do.

We now ask the CF can they drop in to the wide channels to create an overload higher up the pitch. If they do that is then the trigger for the opposite winger to get into the CF position.
Same principles apply, react to the defenders movements and use the CM when possible to create a triangle around the defenders.
Create a wide or half space passing option (depending on defenders posision)
Drop deeper to play a 1-2 pass around the defender.

Half the players to collect the cones and lay them out just like last week, half to collect the ball and place them in the bag and bring them over.
Half pitch match with rolling subs
Red team will play 1-4-4-1-1(wingbacks) and blues will play 1-3-4-3 as i want to see how they cope with playing against a different formation.
Key Points Blues
Back 3 must shuffle across depending where the ball is and support play do we need a 3v1??
How will the CM deal with the -1 overload
How will the 3 forwards stop the defenders playing out.

Key Points Reds
FB's backs pick your moments to get forward, not both every time.
Can my No 6 hold deeper and support the play, help the DF when needed
Can the other 2 CM push in to play between the lines.
