Description :
> 6v3+4
> 6 possession players, 3 defenders, 4 wall players.
> 30x30 area.
> possession players must look to pass the ball around & keep it away from the defenders. Focus on this actvity is to encourage the players to be composed/calm on the ball.
> players must look to make 5 or more passes to gain a point.
> 4 additional wall players will be placed on each side of the area. They can move to either side of the mini goal & move with the play so they can create a passing angle. Wall players can be used at any time by possession players if they do not have a good option in the middle.
> defenders job is to win the ball back asap & score into any of the 4 mini goals around field. They CAN also use wall players for an extra pass if needed.
> work for 3 minutes then rotate players around.
Progression :
> players must now aim to make 10 passes, if they successfully make the passes - they can now look to also score into any of the 4 mini goals.
> 1 point for the 10 passes & 1 point for a goal scored.
Coaching Points :
> decision making - how can we have an idea in our head before we even receive the ball?
> awareness - checking for our best passing option but also where attacker is applying pressure.
> movement - this actvity does not work without players moving & creating passing angles.
> communication - can we let each other know what to do with the ball? " man on " " turn "
> bravery - do not be scared to take the ball in ANY situation, learn from mistakes.
> trust - if your teammate is asking for the ball, give it to them. Learn to trust each other on the field.

Description :
> Attackers v Defenders.
> 8v5 in defenders favor.
> objective of this activity is to get out team into the habit & become comfortable with building attacks starting from our goalkeeper.
> defenders ( blue team ) must look to pass the ball under pressure from attackers ( red team ). Looking to work their way up the field & can score into either goal on the halfway line.
> there are no certain pass limits, players can work it out themselves & choose their passes.
> attackers job is simple, put defenders under pressure, win ball back & look to score into big goal.
> game always restarts from GK so encourage players to get back into position & talk them through where each player should be when GK has ball.

Description :
> Organized Chaos.
> 3 teams, 1 ball each team.
> 30x30 area.
> all teams working in the area at the same time. This will allow players to focus on looking for their teammates in crowded area but also the timing & weight of their pass.
> encourage players to spread out around the field & not to be bunched up. Let's think about how you can pass the ball & move into a new space on field.
Progression :
> 1st - players must now look to receive the ball in between 2 players from opposite team(s). By doing this, we are getting the players to focus on finding those gaps in between & the bravery to pass the ball into the person.
> 2nd - players must now have passing sequence of short-long-short. If teammate receives a short pass, another player must look to go long forcing another player to come short & give that passing option. Now we are encouraging players to move towards ball to give passing angle.
Coaching Points :
> decision making - how can we have an idea in our head before we even receive the ball?
