Set Up
Create 8x12 channels, yellow cones on the mid line.
Drill
Defender plays into attacker then it's 1v1 to end line, foot on the ball to score. After a goal, retreat into your own half. If the ball goes out in your own half, you get to restart. Run it as a ladder tournement, 90 second games, winner right, loser moves left .

Drill
Defening team (blue) plays ball in to red
Attacking team (red) has to call red goal or yellow goal on first touch
Blue has to show red to the other goal that is not called if sucessful they earn a point
if Red scores in goal they called they get 2 points

1v1 defending
SetUp
Two 12x20 areas with 3 gate goals as shown
Drill
One defending team, one attacking team. Play 1 from the defending passes into player two who turns and passes to player 3 of the attacking team. The attacker/3 must score by dribbling past the defender/1. The attacker gets 2 points for a dribble through Blue goals, 1 point for the red goals.
Progressions
If the defender wins the ball they must pass to their player on the outside
Rotate players/opponents every 3 minutes
Coaching Points
Close down quickly - pressure the ball
Body position - side on, footwork
Slow down/delay the attacker
Dont dive in - patience, look for triggers
