Intro (5 mins)

Organization:

  • One partner one ball 

Instructions:

  • Cats and mice player with a ball is the cat and chases the mouse while dribbling about 30 seconds to 1 minute  when i say freeze both players stop the mouse stands with their legs apart and the cat attempts to pass the ball in between the mouses legs. 1 points for hitting a leg 5 points for getting it between their leg 

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • Running hard from the mouse to not get caught, aim the pass with our inside foot 

Regressions/Progressions:

  • R less time running smaller field to stay close P add more time and make field bigger use weaker foot

Main Activity (15 mins)

Organization:

  • 2 groups one where everyone has a ball the other group one ball partner 

Instructions:

  • Red are dribbling left to right and blue is passing between each other standing opposite of each other, but moving after the pass but staying across from each other, every pass completed is 10 points if the dribblers make it to the other side without getting hit they get 5 points for each time they get to the other side about 1-2 minutes then switch roles 

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • Keep head up look to make quick accurate passes and use inside of our foot 

Regressions/Progressions:

  • R make passers stand still P add more dribblers

Passing in the End Zone cond game (20 mins)

Organization:

  • 4v4 or5v5 

Instructions:

  • Passing in the end zone to score, players cannot dribble into the end or they lose the ball, must be outside the zone and pass it to a player to score , if you do it from farther away zone its 3 points closer just 1 point 

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • Spread out and make passes quickly less dribbling 

Regressions/Progressions:

  • R dont lose ball if dribble into end zone P add more points
