Technical - In Possession
Possession based exercise focused on being comfortable in possession and being able to play away from pressure.
Organisation
Area 30x30, each box 15x15 with a 4x4 box in the middle of the area.
3 groups of 4 players. 1 group chasing/defenders 2 groups looking to keep possession.
1 group of players in 1 box with the other group spread between the other 3 boxes.
Activity
Players look to play 4 passes before then transfering it into another box.
The other remaining players look to move into that box to support the player on the ball and the other group then go and split between the other 3 boxes.
As soon as all 4 players get into the box the defender can then go and press the ball.
Defenders will work for a period of 2 minutes then rotated.
Proression
The players can only transfer into the next box with 1 touch.
If the defenders win the ball the groups switch.
2 defenders can go in and press but 1 extra group player can go in and create 5v2.
