Quick Fire Overloads
Blue player in the corner attacks the big goal 1v0.
Red player attacks the opposite big goal 1v1.
Blue player attacks 2 mini goals 2v1.
Red player attacks 2 opposite mini goals 2v2.
Which team can score the most goals?
Reset and swap so the Reds start and have the overload advantage.
Progression:
Repeat sequence until all players in play.
Coaching Points:
Positive start from player entering play.

Warm Up (15 mins)
Passing Warm Up
Split players into 2 groups, Reds and Blues.
4 Blues and 4 Reds on the outside of the circle with a ball each.
2 Blues and 2 Reds working on the inside of the square without a ball.
Inside players start in the red square and move to receive a pass from their teammate and play a 1-2. Inside player then runs back to the square and moves to receive a pass from another teammate.
Play for a set time and swap out the middle players.
Coaching Points
Outside players perform toe taps or penguin feet whilst they wait to play their passes.
Inside players make eye contact and let their teammate know where they want to receive the ball. Can they play off 1 touch?
Once the outside player have received the ball back from the 1-2 they dribble in towards the centre and perform a turn and return back to their starting place. Positive first touch.
