PURPOSE ACTIVITY - PHASE TWO: PURPOSE.( product).
"SD" - SOCIAL DISTANCING
SD PLAYERs AT EACH OF THE FOUR CORNERS. All with soccer balls.
The four corners start at the same time to head through the gate. As each player gets through the gate, the next player can go. After through the gate, they are now finishing - using POWER or FINESSE.
1 point every time through the gate AND NOW... 2 POINTS PER FINISH ( 3 POINTS POSSIBLE PER TURN).
1-4 minute rounds.
Coaching points:
Technique on dribbling,
"BASICS" of striking ( although NOT the topic) - keep it simple here focus on the speed dribbling but touch on the striking if using finesse or power.
Once again - gauge fitness and adjust times and pace based off the median of what is seen.

"SD" - SOCIAL DISTANCING
SD PLAYERs AT EACH OF THE FOUR CORNERS. One corner with soccer balls, the other without as shown ( group A one corner vs. the other) and ( group B the same).
The four corners start at the same time to head through the gate. As each player gets through, ONE with the BALL and the ONE without the BALL, it becomes a 1v1 to goal. Group A and Group B, work at the same time.
1 point every time through the gate AND NOW... 2 POINTS PER FINISH ( 3 POINTS POSSIBLE PER TURN).
1-4 minute rounds.
IF the defending player wins the ball ( 1 point), if the defending player scores - (3 points).
Coaching points:
Technique on dribbling,
"BASICS" of 1v1 play - defending and attacking ( this is NOT the topic but a component to "touch on").
"basic" striking ( although NOT the topic) - keep it simple here focus on the speed dribbling but touch on the striking if using finesse or power.
Once again - gauge fitness and adjust times and pace based off the median of what is seen.

SD ALL PLAYER AT EACH OF THE FOUR CORNERS WITH THEIR SOCCER BALLS.
The four corners start at the same time to head through the gate. As each player gets through, their teammate can now go. Finished player restarts from their corner.
1 point every time through the gate.
Time limit per game - 1-3 minutes.
Each team has ONE person add their points and report the score to the coach. Conflictiing scores from any team? they get a zero.. all teammates must support their final score.

Coaching points:
Pace of dribble - creating the urgency and making sure the players understand "the HOW", is important.
Techniique in using the proper side of their foot on the turn or "creativity" on the turn back to the line.
Guage their fitness level.
** Beginner VARIATIONS: all players must complete the cycle and return to coach at center to "STOP" the clock if ALL four corners are working together to first understand the activity.
SO... they would complete ONE cycle... A) Speed dribblle through gate, B) Back to their line then to coach at the center of the working area. C). IF all four groups are back before a PRE-set time limit, they get a point and you can go to 10 points? 8 points? etc..
