Organization: Ensure that the size and shape of the grid and the placement of the goals are conducive to the executions of the skills.
Instructions: Player A passes to Player B and back again. On Player A's 1s touch he drives up the field towards the end line. The defender can go on the first touch. Defender is passive first, to encourage the technique repetition. Players A then joins the back of the defenders line. Player B goes to the front of the attackers line and Player C joins the back of the attackers line.
Coaching Points:
1) Big positive touch to get going
2) Head up
3) Assess positioning of defender and decide to dribble straight or execute move.
4) Perofrm the skill at the correct time and place in relation to distance from the defender.
5) Is move needed at all?
6) Foot on same side as defender is used to drag back ball.

Organization: 2 Teams.. Two GKs. Lots of balls in nets.
Instructions: Keeper serves to start. Shoot and score stay on (other team off to sides) go back get another ball. Shoot and miss, off to the sides (other team goes back and gets a ball from GK). Defenders must go to the opposite side to try to induce the pressure that can illicit the Maradona.
Coaching Points:
1) Identify whether the move is on or not.

Instructions: Players Messi dribble out to the half way line then Ronaldo dribble to the next player and lay the ball off. The drill repeats the other direction.
Coaching Points:
1) The HOW of Messi and Ronaldo touches.
2) The importance of the first touch of the receiving player to set themselves up for their dribble, insside of the back foot etc.
3) Eyes up, more so on Ronaldo dribble.
4) Big change of pace in transition between the two types of dribble.
