Setup:
20x30 grid
2 neutrals on endlines; 1 neutral central
4v4 in middle
Activity:
Team in possession scores by connecting 15 passes.
Coaching Points:
~ Mentality: on winning possession, break initial pressure and try to play forward
~ Once pass goes into #9, support underneath it (left & right)
~ Playing in 1 or 2 touch rhythm

Setup:
2 teams broken into two groups
Half field with #9 working at the half line (no defenders allowed in central zone Defending (white team) not allowed to challenge ball past "line of confrontation"
Activity:
Ball starts with blue team who tries to score.
White team defends deep and then scores by finding target and getting a pass back and attacking other goal on counter.
Coaching Points:
+ How quick can we play vertical to break pressure?
+ Playing quickly in the direction you face (no turning into pressure).
+ Getting players up field as quick as possible to support target player
+ Recovery runs of blue (formerly attacking team)

Setup:
2/3 field setup as shown
Defending whites in 1-4-3-1
Attacking blues in 3-2-3
Activity:
Play starts with blue in attacking 1/3 (white leaves #9 up, blue leaves 2 defenders)
Blue team tries to score in big goal.
White team absorbs pressure and then counter attacks to small goals OR by getting the #2 to dribble through wide gate.
Coaching Points:
+ Breaking initial pressure and then looking for vertical option (#9, #8 or #10)
+ Once ball is won, quickly play vertical to 9
+ Midfielders quickly getting up field to support underneath 9
