Session Objective: Warm up :Start of season
Organisation: Two teams,12 poles,6 balls
Key Factors: Pace run,stretch appropriately.
Players begin in two lines at A and B and follow circuit.Pass each other at C and return up side back to original starting point/
Vary demands:slow around course;increase pace across,slow on down run;increase pace down run,slow across;
Add ball at end of each set of posts.Variety of activities;move ball across past partner,leave ball at end and continue same through next set of poles.Take ball towards partner,chop turn and return,leave ball at end and continue same through next set of poles;go round partner with ball,leave ball at starting end and continue same through next set of poles.

Session Objective: Breakout game:to improve quick play in final third
Organisation:
7 v 7 with floater (red player in central area C). Blue Players in central area keep ball until three passes have been made and then play into area A.Can also use Red floater who plays for team in possession.Two blue forward players limited to one touch and must either score immediately or combine to score quickly.Yellow player then plays into three yellow players in centre and they work three touches before playing into areaB and so on. Rotate players after a while.
Developments;
Increase number of required passes in B.
Limit number of touches per player in B.
Add additional defender so 2v2 in A or B but allow player playing pass into area to join in to overload
Limit breakout to side of B,soplayer in central area must move in advance to receive wide and play first touch cross (e.g. T)
Allow one defending player in central area to make recovery run when ball played out(e.g.W)

Keep possession and be patient then speed of interplay
Quality of movement to receive and play first touch
Quality of finish

Session Objective: to improve fitness, receiving ball and and ball control
Organisation:
Two groups,one at each end of line of 4 cones.Variety of drills and repetitions at increasing intensity.
A-without ball.Run in out cones to top then next man goes.Develop to running up and back before exchanging places.Then repeat both drills using ball to manoeuvre in/out cones.
B-Without ball run to second cone,turn and return.repeat with ball.Develop by increasing number of cones to go around.
C-pattern as shown moving ball.Players start at each end.
D-Player moves ball plays ball to player at top then receives on back foot to return.Emphasis on quick pass exchange.Start at each end.
E-As before but play one -two to set other player to come out.
F-Split each end into two and both players move with ball as shown.Both ends.
Can vary adapt and change all examples.
