Attacking & Defending Crosses

18yd to 18yd area with 2 goals at either end.

8v8 + 2 GKs.

Formations of both teams set up as 4-3-1.

Rules / Objectives

Important to include full-backs and wingers when carrying out this session.

The one on one situations between the wingers and full-backs will emulate real game situations.

Goals can only be scored from crosses.

Crosser of the ball only allowed two touches.

Change the formation to 3(1 CB) - 4 - 1. This will allow more chances to attack the ball with more players - also making it more difficult for the defenders.
