Target Player Practice.
One red and one blue inside each of the target endzones,
Two balls in play, one for each team.
Red team have to transfer the ball from one endzone to the other.
Blue team do the same.
Progressions:
Player inside the endzone has to make a first time pass.
Player who passes to target player switches places with him.
Coaching points:
Concentrate on the players first touch.
Receiving players double movement.
Check shoulder.
Recieve on the back foot.
Target players need to be on the move as well as central players. Can you see your teammates feet?

Target Player Game.
Remove one of the balls and the parctice now becomes a game, with reds v blues.
Score 1 point for every successful transfer from one side to the other.
Coaching Points:
As previously, concentrate on recieving on the back foot, double movements, pass and move, etc.
Swap out target players.

Arrival Activity.
As players arrive give them a ball each and get them to practice their skills and turns inside the area. Drag back, Cruyff turn, Squeeze turn, Stepover turn and Outside cut turn, etc.
As more players arrive start to pair them up and introduce passing and moving into space.
Coaching points:
Can you play the ball in front of your partner for them to run onto it?
Can you try different turns?
Be creative.
