10 & 9 Occupying Box (zone 14) outside 18-yard box in final third 7x7 box size. ( BLUE team can't enter this box )
Explanation
GK acts as server MUST PLAY INTO RED IN CENTRAL ZONE 6 & 8, before play can transition into wide zones, RED 2 or 3 can enter central zone to create overload, if BLUE's are pressing high to give GK an extra option.
RED team will then attack the BLUE goal and try to create goal-scoring opportunity's in the final third, using the wide players to link play and cross the ball in. Crosses to be mixed up from driven low across the 6 yard box or high crosses too the far post etc.
BLUE team only back 4 can be in the 18 yard box if blue team Wins possession they look to counter-attack and score in mini-goal.

The RED team look to exploit space and create overlaps in wide channels or through the middle zone 14 RED 9 & 10 to make runs in behind BLUE back 4 changing up their runs each time
If RED 2 & 3 are able to get in behind, encourage them to look to deliver the ball ( First time ) across the 6-yard line ( Corridor of uncertainty )
RED 9 & 10 to make runs attacking that space, rotation, 9 attacks near post, 10 to take a position in and around penalty spot with the 7/11 following up at the back post
Block 2 4 mins
3rd man runner from deep 6 or 8
Coach to manage positional play of Red 6,8,2&3 when this occurs, are they reading the play and taking up covering positions that runners have left to protect from a counter-attack.
Points scoring
Reds 2 points if you score directly from the cross
Reds 1 point if you score after the cross
Challenges, Conditions, Targets
Target - Reds to put 3 different crosses into the box from both sides
Challenge - Reds to switch the play through the 6 or 8 and score from first-time cross
Condition Blue team have 8 seconds to score if they win the ball back

LOOK FOR HIGH INTENSITY AND FAST DECISION-MAKING.
RED Team Task:

WHEN THE BALL IS PLAYED OUT WIDE THROUGH THE LINES TO OUR #7 & #11 DOES OUR OPPOSITE WIDE PLAYER & #9 & #10 GIVE SUPPORTING RUNS TO SCORE GOALS.

Coaching Points
Always try to play forward if not on look to switch ball quickly
Needs to be quality on the pass
Movement off the ball is crucial for opening up space
Wide players to be high and wide at all times to be the outlet - look to get the ball wide
Strikers movement - Interchange with each other and also with the number 10 (after the progression)
Midfielder movement - must interchange with each other and even do dummy runs
