Use as continuation of warm-up to increase HR
1)
Players work in a 10x15 grid.
2 Balls going at the same time with a 3v1 format.
Defending players work continuously for 30s whilst opposing team attempt to keep the ball.
Players to move around the area to create space, use communication and spacial awareness.
Player in possession is allowed as many touches as possible.
Once 30s is up defending player takes possession of ball and plays it back into their teams square where a quick transition of play takes place.
Defending players quickly move to join their team whilst a previous attacking player moves quickly into opposing square to become a defender.
Work for 2 minutes ensuring each player has worked as a defender.
Complete 2 sets with 1 minute rest in between.
2)
Speed, Agility, Quickness
Sprint to first set of cones, touch each cone in above sequence.
Use quick shuffle steps to make your way quickly through agility poles.
1st set - single feet through cones
2nd set - double feet through cones
50% of maximum sprint to beginning.
Next player goes when player in front finishes poles.
Conitnue for 2 minutes with 1 minutes rest between sets.

20x20 area 4v4 (or even depending on numbers)
Reds attack goals marked 2
Blues attack goals marked 1
Team can score in either of their designated goals. Once a goal is scored play is restarted by the team that has just conceeded.
No restriction on number of touches.
Encourage movement, communication, accuracy of passing and confidence in playing under pressure.
Work for 2 minutes, rest for one minute, repeat.
2)
Players work in a clockwise direction.
Stations:
1 - single foot
2 - small, quick shuffle steps
3 - double feet
4 - feet in and out of cones working forwards/backwards.
Each player starts at a station and makes their way through
Receive 2 deliveries from Blue (for purpose of diagram) to volley back (both feet)
When they arrive at a pole they must sprint into central cone and back pedal back out and continue on to next station.
Work continuoulsy for 2 minutes allowing 1 minute transition period.

30x30
2v2 - 2v2 (or even teams depending on numbers)
Players play team in opposing corner.
1st Objective: Score a goal by passing the ball through the goal to your team mate or by dribbling through yourself. Possession then handed back to opposition.
2nd Objective: (Replace 1 goal from each mini game with a portable mini goal) Team attacking mini goal can score by putting the ball in the back of the net, they retain possession and attack next goal. To score in the other goal you must pass through to a team mate or dribble through yourself, again, retaining possession.
Encourage communication, accuracy of the pass, spacial awareness, playing under pressure, movement off the ball and supporting play.
Work for 5 minutes on each objective.
Finish overall session with a large game.

Warm-up
1)
Warm-up:
Players jog around square multi-directional using quick turns, backward steps and quick sideways movements to avoid contact with other players.
Coach calls out actions for players to complete:
High knees
Heels up at back
Light skip
High skip
Jockeying movements
Then move on to dynamic stretching
Occasionally give command for players to make transition into opposite square:
'GO' Players move to the left of their square and complete:
Single/double feet through cones
Side skip/ side shuffle around poles.
Allow players to complete their own static stretching when complete.
2)
Players move multi-directionally around circle created by perimeter players
Players inside must find free player on perimeter to receive pass from.
Sprint to player to receive pass.
Phases:
2 touches - pass along floor
1 touch - pass along floor
Volley return
Headed return
Encourage player communication, awareness of free player and spacial awareness so not to come into contact with another player.
Work for 1 minute
Perimeter players work whilst others rest.
