SET UP: a small zone (10 x 10)set up for 2 players with 2 small passing arcs in centre of zone
AIM: A series of 1st touch skills in a high intensity setting. Players to drive the sucess and standard of the sessions.
HOW: This practic einvovles a series of diffgerent skilsl at approx 1-2 minutes each
(i) - Volleys over the passing arc, players 2 metres apart and try to keep ball in air, but low and volley back and forth to each other, vary volleys from instep to outside of foot (1 -2 minutes)
(ii) Work on passing through the passing arc - start each player 1-2 metre behind the arc and just 1 & 2 touch passing for accuracy.(1 minute)
(iii) Now players move across the zone to get a pass and play throufgh diffgerent arc each time, vary the skill, required (ie drag outide play inside, ) but always challenging accuracy and movement -
For example touch marker A , get pass and then play through arc, and move to touch B and so on, creating movement, touch (2 minutes)
(iv) 1 Player works behind arc, with movement back/forth receiving ball using differnt 1st touch skill to receive through the arc (1 minute each & players swap ).
COACHING POINTS: Close ball, skills good quakity 1 st touch, head up, scanning etc.

SET UP: a field of approx 30(wide) x 40(long) with 2 goals and equal players on the field (4 v 4, 5 v 5, etc) and 2 bouncers outside the zone
AIM: Play a game related activity by building and keeping possession and also the ability to see the switch in play and to move th epoint of play to go forward
HOW: Use a 'bouncer' from each team on the outside of the designated field zone, to work up & down the sideline to asssit the team in POSESSION - the bouncers are 'live' and constantly avaialble as an outlet for the team WITH THE BALL -
COACHING POINTS: Can we switch play to get forward, scanning, opening up to see next pass
PROGRESSION: Bring a 'Joker' into the actual playing field who can also act as a bouncer for the team in BP and create an overload.
