Set Up
-2 goals
-split teams up into 2 groups
-16 cones
-lots of balls
Drill
Sequence 1- both players sprint through the middle and get into the red box to receive a pass from the goalie.
Sequence 2- goalie plays a pass out to attacking player
-player gets a good positive first touch out of the box
Sequence 3- dribbles with pace towards blue cone and performs a skill at the cone
Sequence 4 - has a shot on goal.
Sequence 5- after player shoots he spins around blue cone and receives a pass from coach for a one time finish with the inside of the foot
Variation 1
-move to receive the ball in the yellow box to have a shot with the left foot
Coaching Points-
-receive the pass with the back foot ( in the first drill receive with the Right foot)
-quick acceleration to goal
-use your laces to shoot
-lean over the ball
-part of ther ball (middle)
-follow through with your leg towards the target (goal)
-accuracy

Sequence 4 - makes a pass to the attacking player A at the top, player A turns towards the goal and has a shot. Then he spins around blue cone and receives a pass from coach for a one time finish with the inside of the foot
Sequences 5- After the attacker turns they have shot on goal, then after your shot the attacker goes to the back of the line. And player who made the pass becomes the attacker
Variation 1

Sequence 1- both players sprint through the middle and get into the red box to receive a pass from the goalie.
Sequence 2- goalie plays a pass out to attacking player

Sequence 3- dribbles out of the box
Sequence 4 - makes a pass to the attacking player A at the top, player 3 continue his run. Attacking player can lay the ball off to either the Right or Left side depending on what the shooter wants.Don't always go to one side. If first time you go right the next turn you go to the left to shoot qwith your left foot.Then he spins around blue cone and receives a pass from coach for a one time finish with the inside of the foot
Sequences 5- shot on goal, then after your shot you become the attacker who lays the ball off.. the person who laid the ball off goes to the back of the line.
