Duration: 10 Minutes
Setup:
40L x 30W with mannequins in the middle 20yards from starting point. Mannequins on the outside 20 yards from each other.
Activity:
Simple passing pattern activity to encourage movement from mannequins (Defenders) and creating good angled runs to receive to advance the ball.
Once the players in the middle make the movement, a firm pass is played and the two in the middle work off of each other to have a timed run to beat the mannequins.
Once successful, the player who made the run connects with opposite player at the end who completes a passing sequence on the outside of the grid.
Players on the outside of the grid must open up from the mannequin to receive with the correct foot with a positive touch. The outside players open opposite to each with the final player dribbling back to the start.
The next ball comes in going to the opposite and the rotation continues. Players follow their passes.
