Speed Possession Game :
2 teams playing 5v3 in 20x20yard areas each (2 teams of 8's)
Unlimited touches,
1st team of 6 to complete 10 passes or dribbles into each shaded area in the corners wins
3 defenders try to win back possession and keep the ball as long as possible
When ball goes out, coach serves new ball to team of 6 asap

Conditions :
Teams must "pass" through 3 of the 4 areas before scoring

Technical : Working in Groups of 4's (20 mins)
Passing in groups of 4's :
16 players passing a ball in pairs, Distances ranging from 10-30yrds between the pairs
Passing techniques (inside of foot, driven pass, lofted drive, toe pass, outside of foot, bended pass etc..)
Progressions :
1 - Players play 1-2 touches
2 - Players play a wall-pass in pairs before passing to opposite pairs
3 - Player A finds longest pass (to C), who plays a wall-pass with D while D moves to a new space and returns the "wall-pass" making it a "Double-pass" before passing long to the opposite pair, who repeat the exercise/combination
Coaching Points :
* 1st touch (to where and why ?) angle and distance
* "Check shoulder" before receiving the pass (look behind you)
* Pace & Accuracy on the pass
* Communication to receive the ball (when, where, how ? etc...)
* Timing of your run to receive the ball (when, why and how ?)
